Trichogramma platneri^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5] er sníkjuvespa af ættinni Trichogrammatidae.^[6]^[7] Hún er ættuð frá vesturhluta Bandaríkjanna (vestan við Klettafjöll), og sækir helst í hýsla í trjám og runnum. Tegundin sníkir á eggjum fjölda fiðrildategunda og er þess vegna notuð sem vörn gegn þeim.^[8]
