:Ok, lets all be friends. I have no doubt that bot owners don't wish to overrule local policies but to find the best solution for local problems, in this case high frequent bot edits. And I've proposed a technical solution for that. Maybe it was unfortunate to block some bots, and in particular many active bots, and to keep the less active or inactive ones. This disturbed the work of global operating bots and increased the total edits in total (on all wikis). Anyway I found that my bots edits (and some others) doubles since you blocked few bots and I guess this was not the effect you expected. That I tried to reduce the frequecy be a technical solution and found the edits decreases by 60-90 %. I am sure this the right way and I would be very pleased to keep the flag for further testings. After improving this stuff I will distribute a patch to all bot owners thus they may keep or recover their flag if without flooding pages on icelandic wiki. I hope that meets your needs.
