Meconopsis yaoshanensis^[2] er blásól ættuð frá Kína.^[3] Hún blómstrar stórum bláum til fjólubláum blómum í skúf upp úr hvirfingu hærðra, öfuglensulaga grænna blaða. Hún er einblómga (vex í nokkur ár og deyr svo eftir blómgun eins og tvíærar jurtir, "monocarpic").^[4] Hún verður að 50 sm há.
