Melanotaenia duboulayi[2] er tegund af regnbogafiskum sem er frá austur Ástralíu.[3]

Tegundin hefur verið sem gæludýr síðan um 1927,[4] og á síðustu árum hefur komið í ljós að hún er sérstaklega öflug við að halda niðri moskítóflugu.[5][6]
